Custom corrugated telescope boxes from Timișoara, Romania
WEPADI manufactures corrugated telescope boxes from the FEFCO 03 group: a separate base and lid that slide together. They suit products that are opened and closed several times or need protection on all sides. We make them to your dimensions. The minimum order quantity depends on the box size and board type. Send us your request and we will confirm the minimum quantity with the quote.
We use 3-ply (single wall) or 5-ply (double wall) corrugated board, depending on the product and how it is transported. The base and lid are produced as a set, sized to fit each other. On request, we print your logo with flexographic printing, directly on the board.
We are based in Timișoara, Romania, and deliver across Romania and the EU. We follow ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001. On request, the raw material can be FSC®-certified. Box styles follow the types defined in SR EN 14053, and we design boxes according to SR EN 14054 (the Romanian adoptions of the European standards EN 14053 and EN 14054). You get a quote within 24 hours for any style in the 03 group. If you already have a FEFCO 03 code from another supplier, send it to us and we will check whether we can make it.
Partial or full telescope lid
Lidded boxes in the FEFCO 03 group come in two versions:
- partial telescope lid: the lid covers only part of the height of the base;
- full telescope lid: the lid covers the full height of the box, doubling the walls and improving stacking strength.
Where base and lid boxes are used
Base and lid boxes are a common choice for archiving documents and files, for parts and components that are taken out and put back, for premium products that need a neat presentation, and for long or flat products where the lid covers the full length. Unlike slotted boxes, corrugated telescope boxes do not need to be unsealed and resealed every time they are opened. You lift the lid off and put it back, so the box can be reused several times.
