Custom folder-type boxes and mailer boxes from Timișoara, Romania
WEPADI manufactures folder-type boxes and trays from the FEFCO 04 group. These are one-piece corrugated boxes, die-cut and folded around the product. We make them to your dimensions, in 3-ply (single wall) or 5-ply (double wall) corrugated board. The minimum order quantity depends on the box size and board type. Because they wrap around the product, these boxes are also known as wrap-around boxes. They suit flat products, books, documents and any goods that need a tight fit with no empty space inside. On request, we print your logo with flexographic printing, directly on the board.

Box styles follow the types defined in SR EN 14053, and we design boxes according to SR EN 14054 (the Romanian adoptions of the European standards EN 14053 and EN 14054). FEFCO 0427 cardboard mailer boxes

Why a cutting die is needed
Folder-type boxes have a die-cut shape. The cutting die cuts and creases the board into that shape and is made once for each design. Unlike slotted boxes, where FEFCO 0201 is made with no tooling cost, here the die is part of the first order. For repeat orders of the same design, we use the same die. Folder-type boxes are delivered flat, on pallets, and folded at the packing station. They take up little warehouse space until they are used. If you ship products in different sizes, we can make several designs, each with its own die.
