Custom FEFCO 02 slotted boxes from Timișoara, Romania
WEPADI manufactures FEFCO slotted boxes from the 02 group: one-piece corrugated boxes with top and bottom flaps, closed with adhesive tape or staples. We make them to your dimensions, up to 2000 × 1000 × 1000 mm, in 3-ply (single wall) or 5-ply (double wall) corrugated board. The minimum order quantity depends on the box size and board type. Send us your request and we will confirm the minimum quantity with the quote.
The best-known box in this group is FEFCO 0201, also called the regular slotted container (RSC). It is the most widely used corrugated box for shipping, storage and dispatch. We make it with no tooling cost, which keeps it economical for short runs too.
We are based in Timișoara, Romania, and deliver across Romania and the EU. We follow ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001. On request, the raw material can be FSC®-certified. Box styles follow the types defined in SR EN 14053, and we design boxes according to SR EN 14054 (the Romanian adoptions of the European standards EN 14053 and EN 14054). You get a quote within 24 hours for any code in the 02 group. If you are not sure which style suits your product, we will recommend the right one.
Common FEFCO codes in the 02 group
FEFCO codes describe the shape of a box, not its size. The most common FEFCO slotted box styles are:
- FEFCO 0201: the classic RSC, with the outer flaps meeting in the centre;
- FEFCO 0200: no top flaps, closed with a separate lid;
- FEFCO 0203: the outer flaps fully overlap, for better stacking strength;
- FEFCO 0204: the inner flaps meet in the centre, for a stronger base.
For the other groups, see the FEFCO catalogue or the page on telescope-type boxes.
Choosing between FEFCO 0201 and FEFCO 0203
On a FEFCO 0201, the outer flaps meet in the centre without overlapping. It is the simplest option and suits most shipments. On a FEFCO 0203, the flaps overlap across the full width, so the box stacks better. If your pallets are stacked in the warehouse or the goods are heavy, the 0203 is worth considering.
Standard cardboard boxes, made to your dimensions
Standard boxes from the 02 group suit most products shipped individually or on pallets. Choose the code, the internal dimensions and the board type. On request, we print your logo with flexographic printing, directly on the board. See also our full range of corrugated boxes and our article on custom-size cardboard boxes.
FEFCO slotted boxes are delivered flat, on pallets. For a quote, send us the FEFCO code, the internal dimensions, the board type if you know it, and the quantity. Fill in the quote request form and we will reply within 24 hours.
